Im currently looking for some real online income...so i can have money to develop this website that is going to help people save money on gas...its a totally new concept...this idea...i have tried alot of stuff but havent really found anything that works. PTC is a joke and a big scam..and surveys are mostly scams. Im quick with the computer...i know how to make websites, do research, edit/proofread, provide customer service via chat, blog, and lots of other stuff. The problem is i dont really have a portfolio to show people so i cant get any freelance jobs. Anybody have any ideas or methods to make money online without having to pay money.

I would say freelance websites would be your best choice. You don't really needed the best portfolio, Just the best bid, maybe some random people will take a chance on a person with a new account. Or even freelance, web jobs over at craigslist.com

How do i start to work as photgrapher in San Francisco

How do i start to work as photgrapher in San Francisco?
I have already done some freelance jobs and got good money for it. But freelance is unstable and I was wandering what would be the route to create my own photography business. Should I start by contacting a pro and be an assistant?I wouldnt like to do so because I wont make any money, but is that the only way to start? Did any of you guys started like this or have some informations that could help me through this?I have good knowledge of cameras, i started with film but now use digital. Thanks in advance.

Getting an internship is the best way to learn the business. Internships are rarely paid, so you would need to have a job to support yourself. Another way to go is to open your own shop and do a lot of advertising. For both of those, you could continue your freelance jobs to pay the bills. And take some classes in wedding photography. That's fairly consistent work, especially if you are any good

If you want to make money online and wanted to work from home, go for freelancing jobs. They are only one, that will pay you and its free to become a freelancer. The Internet has opened up many freelance opportunities, expanding markets and helping to build it into one of the largest economic segments for many economies. You dont need to pay to get the job. Development for freelancing has been especially high for software development, website design, information technology, and business documentation. Freelance practice varies greatly. Some require clients to sign written contracts<!--while others may perform work based on verbal agreements, perhaps enforceable through the very nature of the work. Some freelancers may provide written estimates of work and request deposits from clients. Get more information on the website. You can almost find any freelance job you want. http://freelancejobs.awardspace.com/ Payment for freelance work also varies greatly. Freelancers may charge by the day or hour, or on a per-project basis. Instead of a flat rate or fee, some consultants have adopted a value-based pricing method-->based on the perceived value of the results to the client. By custom, payment arrangements may be upfront, percentage upfront, or upon completion. For more complex projects, a contract may set a payment schedule based on milestones or outcomes.

How many percent should I pay tax for a $1700 job

How many percent should I pay tax for a $1700 job?
I'm a freelance videographer. if I get paid 1700$, how much of that goes for tax in state of California?

Depends on your total income for the year. At least a little over 14%, for self employment tax. Could be a lot more than that if you have other income for the year.
2 :
The Self Employment tax is 15.3% in the United States. Also, you may have to pay income tax on the earnings if you have additional income, however your expenses should be enough to offset your income on $1700, and to find that out you'll have to file a Schedule C. If you have no profit after the Schedule C is complete, there is no tax liability

How to find out if an international charity organization is legit

How to find out if an international charity organization is legit?
There is a company/organization that call themselves a non-profit charity organization. they claim to collect donations for poor children in europe. they offered me a freelance representative job in which they would transfer money to my bank account and i would have to western union it to another person. i would get to keep 10 % of the amount transferred. i am sceptical about this procedure, i dont want to do anything illegal. they say, they need people to do this because they want to avoid paying a "charity transfer tax" i never heard of. the address of contact is in poland. what do you think?

SCAM. There are hundreds of these scams on the internet. They have been investigated and reported on TV. They just want to get your bank details to commit fraud or encourage you to contact them by telephone using premium rate phone numbers. You have everything to loose and nothing at all to gain. Any legitimate charity/non profit club or society would not be liable to taxation for transfering funds

Best freelance jobs website?
I want to join a site where I can bid on projects to complete. I am an illustrator and graphic designer but I don't know what site is the best to use. Here are some that I have looked at: www.elance.com, www.getafreelance.com, www.guru.com and ifreelance.com. Anyone with experience on these sites? Thanks!

I think elance.com has a good reputation but you might need to take a few small paying jobs just to get feedback at first. I'm sure if you search for graphic design jobs you will find them, some website have jobs listed on their websites. Other ways are browsing boards like yahoo answers and forums where people might need graphic design work done, you could pick up work by sending a message to see if they're interested

Depending on your background, you could consider medical transcription, coding or billing. I was a medical transcriptionist working from home for 13 years. Many transcriptionists get their training through a course of study while others carry their medical terminology knowledge with them from other health related fields. You would need to get the terminology down, and then get started. Many companies want experience so there's a catch-22. However, doctors and hospitals may be hiring, and after a time you can work from home as many transcriptionists do. There's some excellent information for anyone considering a career in this field in the website listed below. No affiliation with any school or products, just good info, including real job listings in coding, billing, and transcription. They also have free listings in their directory for transcriptionists. http://www.MedicalTranscription.com http://www.MTBrainstorm.com http://www.MedicalTranscription.com/work-from-home.html

Hi! You should never pay anyone to have a JOB from home. If someone is offering employment and asking for money then it is a scam. However, a HOME BUSINESS is different. If you and I decided to open up our own coffee shop then there would be start up costs right? It's the same for home businesses. You work for yourself and the income potential is unlimited. Not to mention the great people you will meet and the fun you will have along the way. You have to be sure you choose something you are passionate about. You can market makeup, candles, health products, etc. I chose to help people save money on their health care. There are many many people that need medical, vision, or dental benefits. 56 million Americans do not have coverage. Even more need a dental plan. If you would like to own your own business helping people save money on health care, please listen to a 15 minute recorded overview by calling 712-432-9598. If you wish to learn working in pajamas, be your own master and earn good income in the process, the best way to do it is taking up affiliate marketing courses. It might be difficult at first, but once you learn it, you will see how effective it is. The best affiliate marketing courses are available at - http://offto.net/joinwa and If you don't want to pay, then download the free course at the site. If you are suspicious that it is a rip-off, then I would really advise you taking a look at this site - http://www.squidoo.com/earnonnet Tons of people are making huge cash with affiliate marketing, and you can be one, too. However, keep in mind, that it takes time and dedication and there is no shortcut!

I know a lot of legit on line work available. Most everyone I know have their own business though. But I do know a place where you can look into for on line work. I don't know if you will qualify for the position or not because I don't know what your qualifications are. But I do know a lot of people who have worked for these companies in the past and are not scams. What is your typing speed? Most places require a curtain speed for typing as well as Internet. But you can take a look and if you qualify I'd say go ahead and apply. http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-gGICILgncrAcleHpY.CJKODazA--?cq=1

What do freelance court reporters (or other self employed people) do to earn extra money when work is slow

What do freelance court reporters (or other self employed people) do to earn extra money when work is slow?
I'm a court reporter that does 95 percent deposition work. Sometimes (especially the summer) I will only end up working 1 day a week. I can't stand sitting around when everyone else is working. What are good ways to make some extra money when work is slow. (It's hard to get a part time job because my scheadule changes from one day to the next and I would like to keep CR my main career.)

Hi there, getting a 2nd job is also not great cause you'll be paying more tax. Employees get hit hardest. Have you considered a business of your own that you can work at as time affords?
2 :
Good question. Maybe as a part time receptionist in a law office
