Are there any work from home Typing Jobs, Tutoring jobs on language, language translating

Are there any work from home Typing Jobs, Tutoring jobs on language, language translating?
I was wondering if there were any work from home jobs on these topics, I want to do somethings on the side to make extra money, so i plan on buying Rosetta Stone to learn as many languages as i can to be a translator, i type very fast so i was wondering if there were any typing jobs, and I wouldn't mind tutoring when it comes to English homework, or any language translating freelance jobs

You might need to spend a few years learning about publishing and advertising and online marketing and then some money will come to you. You might want to start by creating a website or a blog, then adding content to it, that's the basis for a platform from where you can then sell ad space.... this is easily done, but you need a site and traffic going to it just concentrate on that and don't expect to make any money at first.

Gradually building a business as described above is one sound plan, typing well would make the 100+ updates a year on a blog go fast. There are automated programs that do rough translation, they pay people to do first rate native speaker translation, Rosetta Stone quality would probably not cut it, there are other skills you could mater faster than new languages. You can see some freelance translator projects up for bid at the freelance hook up sites like: elance.com, odesk.com, allfreelance.com, getafreelancer.com and project4hire.com Writing articles for web sites might be a good match for you, made to order 450 word articles go for about $4 to $8 having a standard composition form and quick research methods could help you knock them out quickly. Here are some leads.

I found a blog post talking about an awesome solution to working from home, and this program will have you working from home, typing for a big corporation. Please, check it out! I hope it helps you. http://reviewblurb.wordpress.com/2010/03/01/product-1-8-work-from-home/ Good luck!

Many people will say that no mony can be earned online but that's not exactly true, you may earn money online and many people do but it takes some skills and know how. you can get your skills and know how by reading a lot, search google for affiliate money and read all you can find on it. Another good search would be "online publishers".
6 :
I would suggest learning some new skills, such as to do with IT, computers & internet that means you could work remotely. Many companies offer the ability for employees to work from home too. Another way to look at it is to see if you can use any of your hobbies / interests to earn money. An amateur photographer for example could start to make and sell prints... Or, if you are very knowledgable about something, you could start a business in that - selling from ebay,, or starting a website... All the best... biggest bit of advice - avoid those scams!

I remember those days when i almost get mad to find one free survey site that really pay us without charging a fee. The fact is that there are so many survey sites in internet who actually charges a registration fee. I tell you what, run as far as you can, if they ask you money to join their survey site. Any legimate survey site, will not ask you money to join them They actually have to pay us if we join them some people do not understand this, and they pay and later they suffer and get frustrated. So is there really any Survey site that pays us? The Answer is, Yes. I am personally getting paid by a Survey site and please find the below website and register yourself for free, http://surveyadventure.freehostia.com/ http://easywaymoney.freehostia.com/ The best part is that, after you register and confirm the email sent, you will have a chance to win a car. The fun part is that they pay you money for playing games. And you get sometimes $50 for completing offers. Check out the offers area when you log in, you earn more. I personally get paid and you could trust them since they dont ask you any money, you could give a try, there is nothing to lose. I am sure you will be happy at the end of the week seeing money in your account. Have a great day ahead...!

You can use the babylon for this purpose. It's the best translator/dictionary in my opinion: http://babylon.gnds.info/?l=us

Do I have to pay a self-employment tax throughout the year or just when I do the rest of my taxes

Do I have to pay a self-employment tax throughout the year or just when I do the rest of my taxes?
I just got a freelance editing job, and am told I'll have to fill out a 1099. I've been trying to read up on self-employment tax, but can't seem to get a straight answer. Do I have to send money into the government throughout the year, or can I just save 15% of it and then send it in April when I do the rest of my taxes and it looks like I owe something? Thanks!

Since it's your first year, you'll just pay it at the end of the year. Don't forget, you'll be able to take a lot of deductions as a self-employed worker. And depending on your income, next year you may be required to pay quarterly. I highly recommend you use a tax preparer, especially for your first return; there are lots of pitfalls that can occur.
2 :
Pay quarterly income taxes or you’ll be hit with a penalty when you file next year. http://www.irs.gov/faqs/faq-kw146.html
3 :
First off, the payer fills out the 1099. You need to send in 15.3% of your net earnings and whatever your estimated income tax on those earnings are every quarter the dates are 4/15, 7/15, 10/15, 1/15. Enclose a check with a completed IRS Form 1040ES. If you have any expenses that apply, you may deduct those from the payments you've received.
4 :
The IRS uses a pay-as-you-go system. The requirement to file quarterly estimated taxes has 3 safe harbors. As in, if you meet any one of them, you can wait until 4/15 to pay. #1. Your increased tax bill is less than $1000. #2. You pay in at least as much money via withholding as you owed on your tax return LAST year. #3. You pay in at least as much money via withhold to cover 90% of THIS year's tax bill. If the 1099-misc income is modest and from a part time assignment, then you are probably fine since you could fit within $1000. If you have a wage job, you can increase your withholding to cover the extra tax bill and skip the quarterly forms. You can even just bump your withholding for Nov and Dec and the IRS will never know that you did it late in the year. If your income is increasing from year to year, just look at last year's tax return for the total tax and adjust your W-4 to withhold up to that

Go Freelance Is it legit

Go Freelance? Is it legit?
I've view this website and they have me on their e-mail list, but it's a membership thing and I'm not sure if it is legitimate. The fee is $3 and it gives you access the on-line freelance jobs available (supposedly). Has anyone ever done this?

I've never done it, and I'm skeptical. In my opinion - I don't think I'm ever likely to respond to something that wants me to pay them. Try posting this question with the website info on Craigslist in the 1099 section and see if any of the freelancers there have some insight. Best of luck!
2 :
Go Freelance are a legimiate job bank that has up to date freelance jobs listed in it, not fake jobs. I believe that's their trial fee or something like that. I have them and other legit job banks listed on this page

I think, there are some employers who could hire you under 1099 instead of W-2 so that they make money from giving you work while paying you zero benefit, and make you pay employer's share of tax too. I think that's how freelancing is done. Not sure if I answered your question though

Freelance Writers Question?
Is it possible for a 17 year old to get a freelance writer job online? I was just wondering because I just read an article by a freelancer in a local magazine and it was awful.

Yes, absolutely. If you have a few good ideas, research them, and put your story together so that it is clear and understandable, you could offer it to a magazine or newspaper. Before you do that, it's best to talk with the publication's editor or managing editor to see if it would be acceptable and what the rules are for submissions. Hopefully, you have some sort of writing background. That would enhance your position.
2 :
yes you should be able to do so, most ask that you are atleast 18 yrs of age. If not let a parent sign up for you and go on your way to writing and be paid. You are on the right track, it's a great concept. Best of wishes

I've been a professional copywriter before, so here's a tip: if you're totally new to the business, how about spending on some cheaper, less advanced material first? Once you're familiar with the basics, you can try and find a few freelance jobs. Use the money you earn to invest in the $500 course. P.S: If, by any chance, you're talking about Michael Masterson's "Accelerated program for six-figure copywriting," take my advice and don't buy it. There's TONS of better books and courses out there. At $500+, I found absolutely no value in it. Just my opinion

Yes! Look up "ethical SEO" articles. This is the practice of writing informative articles on a given topic which just happen to include search derivatives in their text. If you stuff with keywords, good search engines like google will be able to detect it, and exclude your results. That's what the "ethical" means - a search-engine optimised article that truly is informative or useful to the reader, in addition to being good marketing material. The best site for getting work in this is probably rent a coder (www.rentacoder.com) There are others which you can find yourself. It's boring, soul-destroying work. Good luck. :)
