Try Craigslist. About once a year, or so, I can find a reputable gig that pays something more than slave wages. Watch out for scams and those that want quality work, but are not willing to pay for it. Otherwise, you have to go out and hustle up your own clients. You need to convince them that they need your services, even though they don't yet know it. Nearly 40% of my freelance work is, literally, SALES, 10% to 20% bookkeeping and the little time left, devoted to creating paid work. And much of THAT is mind numbing grunt work
