Im 20 yrs old. I already have a complete kit and im pretty good. I am interested in freelancing and ppl have told me that dancers are a good place to start. what do u think? I Would apply to mac or other makeup counters but there is a great lose in jobs in my area and in the economy period so until I finish cosmetology school this is my best chance.

I think that if you're struggling and need a job that you should go ahead. Makeup is a great art, and you are probably so great at it, but lowering your standards too doing makeup on strippers doesn't seem like a great idea. Go to a Sephora, or Mac or even the drugstore and become a makeup consultant! Or even start making YouTube makeup videos. I do, and it was a great place to start!

i say go for it! but be ready for what you are going to see, its not pretty.. lots of drugs and behind the scenes type things. i did this for a short while.. making 35 a head, then of course you have to pay the head mom. also if u do hair i would makeup to 45 for one face! not bad if u ask me!! get there early and out, so you wont see so much happening in the back....

i think that if your friends are telling you to start doing make-up at a strip club instead of at a clinique counter inside macy's then they are just trying to spare your feelings and hope you get the hint.... they probably actually think your make-up skills aren't the best.... there is actually a saying about when you wear too much make-up or are bad at doing your own .... it's 'WOW you look like a hooker' and as far as i've seen strippers do their make-up the same way. if you are serious about this dream go to school for it no amount of experience in a strip club could even compare to getting a degree. whatever you choose good luck and try to take yourself more seriously.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh heck no. What are you thinking? You could r8ped, strip clubs are where ho-ish girls and dirty men hang out. When your walking out the door at night time some dirty man runs past and picks you up and throws you into his van. That's is a BAD JOB. You are supporting prostitution. Very bad, don't do it....
